Concept
PechaKucha is an event that runs in over 900 cities. The nights are informal & fun where creative people come together to share their ideas, passions, work, thoughts -- really just about anything-- in the format of 20x20 (20 slides, 20 seconds per slide). The night is about connecting people, inspiring the community and creating a platform to uncover the city's creativity.
Each event is run by a city organizer -- cue where I come in. I have been running the event since March 2017 with two very inspiring events. As an organizer you have to wear many different hats, from promoting the event, organizing speakers, contacting sponsors, event setup and much more.
